Arc. Augustine Edache obtained his B.Sc. (Arch) with a Second Class Upper Division in 1978 and a Master’s degree in Architecture in 1980 all from the prestigious Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. He commenced his working career as a project architect with the Federal Capital Development Agency (FCDA), Abuja in 1981. Between 1981 and 1994, he worked with the Federal University of Agriculture, Makurdi initially as the university architect and later on as the Chief Architect responsible for all designs and construction activities of the institution. Arc. Edache then moved on to the Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation (NDIC) where he served in various capacities such as Senior Manager, Principal Manager and Assistant Director between 1994 and 2004 after which he retired from public service. Arc. Edache has attended several courses in Architecture, Banking & Finance and Management both locally and internationally. He is a Fellow of the Nigerian Institute of Architects (FNIA), registered member of the Architects Registration Council of Nigeria (ARCON) among many other professional bodies.
